Meet the Owners
Ronnie Young and Kevin Rampley are long time members of CrossFit Holly Springs and became owners of the gym in February of 2019. Ronnie and Kevin are veterans, first responders and share a friendship of more than 20 years. Their goal is to provide an unparalleled environment where all members can reach their fitness goals, no matter their starting point, then continue to set and achieve new challenges.
Ronnie serves as Head Coach for the CrossFit Holly Springs team and leads all fitness programming. He has been practicing CrossFit since late 2011 and is a walking example of the difference CrossFit can make in your health and well-being. Ronnie was born in Atlanta, GA and raised in Woodstock. He served in the US Air Force as a B-52 crew chief and has more than 20 years’ experience as a law enforcement officer. He has participated as an athlete in major competitions like 2016 Wodapalooza, 2017 Granite Games and is the 2017 winner of the CrossFit World Police & Fire Games in Los Angeles, CA. When Ronnie is not at the gym, he enjoys spending time with his wife (Lauren) and two boys (Bryson and Collin) who are very active in soccer, basketball and football. He also coaches a local youth basketball and flag football team each spring.
Kevin leads the general operations and maintenance of the gym. He has been practicing CrossFit since 2014 and eventually convinced his wife to join in, too. Kevin was born and raised in North Georgia (Pickens County), was an Army Combat Engineer with the 82nd Airborne, and has served more than 20 years as a law enforcement officer. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife (Gaetana) and three active kids (Cora, Gavin and William) often running between volleyball games, scouting activities and cross country meets. He also enjoys woodworking and camping trips with the family.
